I totally fell in love with these awesome drawings! Totally my style. Lovely. *and educational* My favorite is this one with the two beautiful surfer girls enjoying a spliff . “Hi, my name is Jessica and I am the artist behind Rosemary Rain. I was born in Arizona, where I still reside with my amazing boyfriend of 6 years (Jason) and our 3 cats; Jack (named after Jack Bauer) Louis (Named after King Louis XVI) and Miep (Named after the amazing Dutch woman who helped Anne Frank’s family and saved Anne Frank’s Diary)
I am an Art History student, Part-time Painter, and I work Full-time in the Mortgage Industry. My inspiration comes from my childhood, pastels, Marie Antoinette, my travels and my dreams of travels. When I was a little girl, I was always making something. I remember taking my brown paper lunch bags and turning them into hand puppets, or going on road trips with my family and bringing along markers and paper and drawing the mountains as we drove by. In ten years, I would love to own a little row house along the canals of Amsterdam, spending my days painting, creating, exploring, traveling, learning and making a difference.”
This marijuana cartoon I found on YouTube is just a great visual of how the “war on drugs” has been a total bust, to say the least. I love the beauty of the whole thing. Making such a perfect point in under 4 minutes is also perfect for showing someone who may be on the fence of being pro/con cannabis.
Every Mary Jane Friendly Lady and every Mary Jane Friendly Man needs a wallet, and what else would they want on their wallet other than a beautiful cannabis leaf!
SnapDragon handmade accessories for women and men ~ inspired by my love of pop culture, pop art, nature, and color ~ created by me, using silhouettes (laser-cut exclusively for Snap Dragon) and vintage finds.
My husband is an amazing artist (lucky for me!) and helps me bring my designs to fruition, because he actually draws and laser-cuts the appliqués that I use.
I thoroughly enjoy the artistic process of creating something from raw materials, and I like to think of the pieces I make as art that you can actually carry your necessities around in!
My cards are made with quality inks, paper, stamps, ribbon, buttons, etc. from Stampin’ Up. I put a lot of time in to the cards, from layout design, to color choices, to symmetry, to stamping. Most of my cards are originals, meaning I only make 1 or sometimes up to 3 of the same card but then that design is gone for good. Cards are blank on the inside.
My cards are meant to be stuffed with a little treat in the treat cup. They have an easy to access spot to stuff the cup and then a backing to seal the treat in. Anything from candy to money could be stuffed in the cup but the main reason I made these cards is for caregivers to give their patients a sampling of the medicine they have grown for them for a special occasion or just because.
Each card comes with a padded envelope.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. If you are interested in a quantity of them to be made, I would love to offer you a special discounted rate.”
“My name is Amy Gwinn and I reside in the state of Michigan. I started doing paper crafts about 16 years ago and more specifically cards in the last 5 years. In 2009 when Michigan became a medicinal marijuana state, my husband and I became caregivers. About a year after that, the company that I get my card making supplies from came out with these little clear cups that you could use for cards. I made up a few cards with them and put a sample of our medicine in the cup to give to our patients. They loved them and after encouragement from them, I decided to try to sell them on Etsy. I also have contacted some compassion clubs and dispensaries in Michigan to see if they would like to carry them. So far the feedback has been wonderful and I am so excited because I love making them! Cannabis Care Cards is open for business!”
I started making Silver and Turquoise jewelry in 1973. I would cut the stone, and then fabricate a setting out of sheet and wire on a homemade work bench in my bedroom. The following year I opened a shop with my brother, and we did custom work and repairs.
I learned to work in wax, which allowed me to expand into gold and the use of other gems. We became a “trade shop” and did work for several local jewelry stores. After a few years I realized all I was doing was work, and getting older and fatter. I applied to some local Art & Craft fairs, and enjoyed the interaction with customers and selling something other than diamond wedding sets.
I like color, and Mother Nature produces some very beautiful and colorful rocks and gems. In 1992 I closed my store and started doing shows full time. All of the color in my jewelry is natural rock in one form or another, without dyes, resins, or enamel. The metal is Gold, Platinum, or Silver.
All designs are originals, several of the master waxes were carved by Sharon of NightSkyJewelry on Etsy when she was a wax carver. Though many have molds, each piece is one of a kind by the time I finish. I specialize mostly in fine stone inlay, often complimenting a center gemstone. I sign each piece with my signature stamp of a “JH” in a circle and the type of metal. I have two part time helpers in my studio who help me, one by shooting and cleaning up waxes, and one who is an apprentice that I am teaching the business.
My name is Kristian Angel and I am a cannabis artist. I got started doing
this back in 2006 when I thought it would be a great idea to paint
pictures of luscious nugs as gifts for my friends. Four years later, a
medical marijuana dispensary in Colorado saw one of my paintings and
contacted me for a commission. I knew the opportunity would give my art
some focus and also allow me to make an impact in the battle for more
sensible drug policy.
I’m an artist living in the SF Bay Area with my wife, two little girls, and one boy or girl on the way.
I make my living as an artist. Murals are a big part of what I do.
Most of my own non mural work is done during manic explosions of creativity which last either a few weeks, and a few months. Then the darkness catches up 🙂
All of my original paintings are done on wood, which I prefer to canvas.
